During his time at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Dave was the lead for the Air Force and Navy Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) programs in the Advanced Development Program line of business know as "Skunk Works". In this role, Dave developed initial strategy and business development efforts to best position LM NGAD program for success. Dave also led a re-win campaign for the F-22 program while working as the lead domestic business development executive in the Integrated Fighter Group line of business. His efforts secured a roadmap and customer alignment for current and future sustainment and modernization efforts valued at approximately $1B per year.
Global alert systems are antiquated and ineffective at providing immediate alerts to citizens while simultaneously assisting law enforcement officers with real time situational information. Victims are powerless, while law enforcement officers are blind with little to no Situational Awareness. We are losing the battle against terror in active shooter scenarios. At Code Black Alert, we developed a lifesaving, crowdsourcing mobile web, and an app based alert and law enforcement security solution.
Responsible for strategy, business development, and governmental and business relationships for industrial commercial development. Commercial asset responsibilities include development of deep-water port and associated 8,000 undeveloped industrial acres as well as over 3,000 acres adjacent to Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport.
Provided executive leadership for ~$350M operating and maintenance budget, comprised of business units focused on training and combat operations, logistics, engineering, communications, hospitality and retail services, residential management and development, medical clinic and emergency services, and police services. Led four presidents of major business units with staff of ~4,500 personnel and over $11B in operational and capital infrastructure. Oversaw team of seven directors across all units/functions including HR, finance/auditor, quality improvement, marketing, legal, spiritual services and media.
