Manage the ports of: Cairns- Cruise, Sugar, Molasses, Petroleum, Gas, Fertiliser, General and Project Cargo; Mourilyan- Sugar, Molasses, Iron Ore, Livestock and Timber; Cape Flattery- Silica Sand; Thursday Is, Cruise, General and Project Cargo; Skardon River- Bauxite; and Karumba- Zinc, Lead, Livestock and General Cargo.
Port Security Officer for the Security Regulated Ports of Mourilyan, Cairns, Cape Flattery, Thursday Is and Karumba. Including the development of security risk assessments and maritime security plans for each port. The management, training, exercising and auditing of each plan under the ISPS code. Member of the Office of Transport Security Cruise Ship Security Working Group and Strategic Policy Group. Development, implementation, ongoing testing and management of both the Ports North Emergency Plan and the Business Continuity Plan. Developed the Cairns Reef Fleet Complex Security Plan which was assessed as worlds best practice by the Office of the Inspector of Transport Security, Mick Palmer when he conducted the International Ferry Transport Security Review on behalf of the Commonwealth Government.
