I’m a Facilities & Estates Leader with over 18 years’ experience delivering safe, compliant, and high-performing environments across healthcare, education, retail, and large-scale estates. Currently working within NHS Scotland, I lead teams responsible for maintaining and improving complex healthcare facilities—ensuring estates services not only meet statutory and SHTM requirements, but actively support frontline care. My approach to leadership is simple: build strong teams drive accountability never compromise on safety or compliance I’ve developed a broad skillset across: Leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams and contractors Managing budgets and large estate portfolios Delivering capital projects and service improvements Ensuring compliance across Health & Safety, Fire, Asbestos, Water (L8), and M&E systems (including steam) Embedding process improvement and operational efficiency through CAFM systems I’m a hands-on, visible leader who believes in setting clear standards, supporting people to perform at their best, and continuously improving how services are delivered. For me, estates and facilities management isn’t just about buildings—it’s about creating environments where services can operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. In healthcare, that directly impacts patient care, and that’s what drives me.
