A simple postcard design, costing 19 Cent to mail in High School announcing concerts, was promoting some band called the Foo Fighters in an interview. Reviewed some unknown band called Green Day with the Smoking Popes out of Chicago and Local "High Street Stars" Earwig and a few others bands that would blow you back. This promotional postcard exploded into a "zine " - AKA A magazine all over Ohio. 16 black and white paper magazines, bound and mailed to over 1000 kids. Which led to an internship with the greatest, longest running rock club in the United States, the Newport Music Hall. (Bowie played here, Queen too) Like a spinning vinyl record, my legacy in Ohio still is playing , reviewing WIlco, Avett. The Stones, The Idles and now helping the houseless and the broken hearted with skateboarding.
