David Geller has 30+ years of international marketing, branding & franchising experience, having held senior positions at American Express Publishing, Barnes & Noble.com and lastly Equinox Fitness Clubs to name a few. At Equinox, David was responsible for brand strategy and the entire marketing organization. He was also part of an executive management team that catapulted Equinox from a regional NY based fitness provider with 25 clubs and $150MM in revenue to an international luxury lifestyle brand with over $400MM in revenue, 50 clubs and multiple new brands including Pure Yoga & Blink Fitness. David’s expertise ranges from developing entire brand architectures and creating brand partnerships, to devising comprehensive ROI based multi-channel customer acquisition marketing strategies online, offline and using social media. He has also launched websites & e-commerce platforms, developed content strategies, blogs and APPS. Additionally he introduced customer centric CRM database strategies to enhance customer experience and target customers based upon engagement, usage and buying patterns, as well as “win back” former customers. These innovations have yielded double digit increases in customer retention and millions in incremental profit. In 2011 David took the jump into entrepreneurship as an independent advisor & consultant to companies in the fitness, health and wellness spaces including health clubs, fitness brands, venture capital firms, investors and franchise organizations. He also was part of an investment team that in 18 months built out, operated then sold a successful Tasti D-Lite franchise to a high profile group. Lastly, David is on the adjunct faculty for the Drucker School of Management's Executive Education Program as a brand & marketing strategy expert. David received his BA from Brown University and his MBA from Harvard University with second year honors.
