The operations health monitoring team in Meta is responsible for demand side planning for all project workflows for ads on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). This team is responsible for managing the vendor partners, setting demand side targets and monitoring supply side performance to ensure company goals are met. Selected Achievements • Led a program to design and launch automated metric monitors for Ads Appeal queues to ensure Ad appeal didn’t exceed the 24-hour SLA. Also ensured we abided by local government regulations. • Led the launch of large-scale business transformation program for all advertising workflows to make vendor partners more efficient across all advertising workflows and reduce the risk of critical workflows missing SLAs. This project resulted in the reduction of the average handle time for reviewers and increased the number of jobs closed per reviewer
The Metrics and Monitoring team is a horizontal function of the global operations org at Meta that serves as the main point of contact for senior leadership, overseeing 27 distinct Trust & Safety teams. Founding member of the team and report to the Head of Community Product Operations. The remit of the team was primarily Operational Excellence focused on improving the operational efficiency of the teams, tightly balancing the key demand and supply levers via data analysis to enable better decisions for driving compliance. Selected Achievements • Designed and launched an operational excellence framework for all trust and safety teams within Meta Global Operations, working with 23 problem teams across global operations. Successfully advanced the operational maturity from 40% to 100% in 6 months. • Project lead to design and launch a tool to monitor key supply/demand metrics across global operations to highlight high risk events and alert stakeholders. This ensured faster responses and reduced risk across the org. • Created a framework to enable stakeholders to respond to alerts and trained stakeholders to mitigate these high-risk events. • Successfully coached and trained 4 new team members during onboarding
Citi is one of the largest financial institutions in the world. As part of the analytics team, I was responsible for conducting ad-hoc risk analysis for any risk event on the organization’s books, as well as analyzing all risk events in the firm and providing high level summaries to senior leadership to highlight highest risk events to the firm requiring mitigation. Selected Achievements • Project lead to design and build a risk management tool to manage and highlight all high-risk items within the firm to ensure leadership could manage resources to prioritize mitigation of these items. • Hosted daily scrums with managing directors to highlight the highest risk events within the firm and drive risk mitigation plans. • Created weekly risk reports as well as ad-hoc analysis of global risk data, and presented results to Senior Management.
