Projects include: • Project Management and Concept Design for the 95th St. ETOD Corridor in Chicago. Working with DPD (the Chicago Dept of Planning and Development) and members of the public, the project links the community to resources and employment opportunities and builds wealth in an area that was historically disenfranchised by misguided public policies and financial practices. The project involves two catalyst sites: 1.) a 2.5 acre site near the existing CTA red line terminus, which includes 112 units of high density multifamily housing and town-homes, a cultural / community center, retail, a public plaza, and green space, and 2.) a 0.25 acre site for artist's live work studios, including a gallery / retail space. • Project Management for a planning study at The University of Chicago Medical campus. Working with upper level management of the university, hospital, and science research divisions, the study addresses the need to consolidate fragmented medical work spaces and accommodate future growth in medical researchers and clinicians. The study addresses both traditional offices and new, informal, collective hubs.
Guest Lecturer with Dr. Jacques Tempere, Professor of Theoretical Physics. The recurring course is based on our research together, a cross-disciplinary, sustainable design collaboration between Physics and Architecture, We are presently focused on a passive house design for a hot-arid or temperate climate.
