Areas of particular expertise are both frontend and backend web development, as well as app development for iOS. I’m most handy with Javascript, PHP, and Swift (but HTML and CSS will always have my heart). Also a big fan of stretching out and learning new languages. I'm also very handy with operations type tasks --process automation, scripting, general bash-y stuff. Developed new and maintained existing e-learning products. Led the specification, development, and deployment of full stack platform for learning content delivery. Also administered infrastructure, assisted in interoperability and accessibility testing, and consulted on company-wide technology direction.
Working in the CBC Music unit, I developed and maintained CBC Music’s iOS app, and contributed to development and maintenance of both the ASP.NET “classic desktop” product and the Backbone.js-based mobile/responsive product. Also contributed to development of rewritten web property, collaborating on a multi-lingual/multi-location team as we blended Knockout.js with a custom in-house framework.
Working at the IMA Lab (the IMA’s technology arm), I extended existing and developed new web and iOS applications for use in gallery and in the museum/cultural sector, and contributed to the Lab’s ongoing open source projects.
