As an up and coming Enlisted Defense Attaché for the United States Air Force, my focus is on providing critical advice on military and security matters to the US Ambassador and driving forward US foreign policy objectives. With a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, my approach is rooted in efficiency and strategic financial management, particularly overseeing a sizeable budget for a fleet of advanced aircraft and supporting Department of Defense initiatives. My expertise is further reflected in executing diplomacy and international relations with finesse, fostering robust networks with host nation officials, and embassy partners. These competencies enable our organization to maintain operational readiness and advance security cooperation programs, ensuring our mission's success and the strategic advancement of national security interests.
In this role, we provide advice to the US Ambassador on military and security matters, report on political-military activities in the country and region, and support security cooperation programs in selected countries. Additionally, we conduct liaison with officials from both the host nation and third countries, and coordinate with embassy partners to advance US foreign policy objectives. Furthermore, we offer operational, administrative, and logistical support to personnel involved in Department of Defense initiatives. My first post will be at the US Embassy in Rabat, Morocco.
I oversee and manage the budget of a fleet of 4 Boeing 747s valued at $5.1B. My job entails managing our travel and expense budget as well as executing the spending plan for the year. The other part of my job is getting projects completed and working with contracts to get high-ticket items and equipment for our troops.
I am in charge of Organizational Task Management as well as in direct support to the President of the Baltimore Renaissance. The Baltimore Renaissance is a history-making multi-billion dollar initiative that will, for the 1st time in the modern history of Baltimore City, create a Historic Comprehensive Collaborative Consensus-Based Citywide Revitalization plan. The project will identify, plan, and craft plans for the revitalization of a minimum of 70 Renaissance sites throughout the entire city, with a minimum of 5 sites per district. The plan creates a springboard that will catapult Baltimore City into a “Revitalization Spring” and create historic record-setting outcomes that will be felt in the city for many generations to come. The plan, along with its comprehensive and engaging community collaboration, carefully crafted site and development financial plans, and assistance with the selection of development plans and their execution will transform Baltimore into a national and international turnaround story that shall have no equal. Led up to 350-person teams, orchestrated 9 community outreach projects, and advocated city-wide community wellness. • Volunteered to coordinate 7 events on behalf of a non-profit community development organization, assessed stakeholder needs, and ensured a clear flow of communication between sponsors and recipients.
