– In Heidelberg geboren, im Rheinland Zuhause, im Herzen Europäer. – Mannschaftssportler seit dem vierten Lebensjahr. Das wunderbare Team von „Hart aber fair“ hat mir gezeigt, dass es darauf auch im Berufsleben ankommt. – In zehn Jahren als Journalist habe ich gelernt, demütig zu sein, genau zu recherchieren und die Vergangenheit des deutschen Kolonialismus in Ostafrika aufzuspüren. – Im Bundeswirtschaftsministerium durfte ich erleben, wie viel Exzellenz und Engagement in der politischen Verwaltung steckt und dass der Begriff „Staatsdiener“ eine echte Auszeichnung ist. – Seit 2017 darf ich an der Kommunikation und Public Affairs-Arbeit eines Weltkonzerns mitwirken, im Team von beeindruckenden Kolleginnen und Kollegen. Neben vielen Fremdwörtern habe ich gelernt, was gesellschaftliche Relevanz wirklich bedeutet, und wie es aus nächster Nähe aussieht, wenn man einen großen Tanker durch hektische Zeiten steuert. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- – Born in Heidelberg, at home in the Rhineland, European at heart. – Teamplayer in sports since the age of four. The wonderful team from "Hart aber fair" showed me that this is also what really matters in professional life. – In ten years as a journalist, I learned to be humble, to do accurate research and to track down the past of German colonialism in East Africa. – At the Federal Ministry of Economics, I was able to experience how much excellence and commitment there is in political administrations and that the term "public servant" is a real distinction. – Since 2017, I have been allowed to contribute to the Communications and Public Affairs work of a global company, in a team of impressive colleagues. In addition to many new words, I have learned what systemic and societal relevance really means and what it looks like up close to steer a large tanker through hectic times.
