      - Lead the System Analyst Team consisting of 6 analysts and 2 report developers supporting the Fiscus application, Thin Clients and all peripheral applications for Silica’s local and international clients and have a good understanding of all the applications being used - Managing of all projects (minor & major) as well as providing day to day production support for both domestic and international clients which includes managing the client relationship, dealing with escalations, meeting with senior management & clients, provide management reports, create meeting agendas and present to various groups - Responsible for the Fiscus SDLC - all major/minor version upgrades, new client take-ons, fund merger projects, bulk trades and the like, working cross functionally with project managers, DBAs, developers, infrastructure and business users in order to understand the client’s needs, doing requirements gathering, documenting/reviewing specifications (BRSs/FRSs), handling all change requests, ensuring Silica has the necessary hardware and technology to meet the client’s needs - Managing all aspects of testing, from creating a QA strategy, test packs & test plan, documenting bugs & determining what require critical fixes versus those that could be fixed post Go Live, determining the frequency of additional QA releases to providing UAT support for business users, documenting changes and finally implementing the changes on Production and providing post implementation support - Managing the costing of both major and minor projects and together with senior management, 3rd party vendors and clients, confirm if the costs are justified and thereafter determining if a particular project should proceed - Creating and reviewing SQL scripts (which includes simple scripts as well as complex scripts used for data conversions, bulk dealing etc), stored procedures, new reports, system enhancements as well as giving the final change control approval to deploy to Production
