If software development were not my profession it would be my hobby. My passion for building things started as a child with Lego then transitioned to building software. I also have a love of team sports - playing, leading, coaching and facilitating. That mirrors my professional life, where need and opportunity have allowed me to combine or rotate through hands on development, team leading, scrum coaching, architecture and project management. Whilst having that breadth of experience I have a deep knowledge of C++, Python and agile development. My working style reflects the way I lead and coach in sport. That is to adapt to the needs and risks of the task and the capabilities and styles of those I'm working with. I am a strong advocate of agile development - especially the search for value, the servant leadership, high levels of transparency and quick adaptation based on evidence.
