Rare Diseases Unit GSK’s fledgling Rare Diseases Unit (established 2010) required an experienced orphan disease marketing specialist to drive the commercial development of a flagship portfolio of inherited metabolic disease products. This spanned lysosomal storage disorders (migalastat), amyloidosis (inotersen and dezamizumab) and pulmonary arterial hypertension from pre-clinical to maturity. Led cross functional teams that included market access, commercial analytics, supply chain, medicine development, medical affairs and accountable for developing and delivering the global product commercial strategy.
