      USAID Southern Region Economic Development Rep - Afghanistan (Jan. 2010–April 2012) Served as the USAID Regional Economic Dev Rep for Southern Afghanistan based at the U.S. Embassy Regional Platform-South at Kandahar Airfield. Responsibilities included the planning, design, dev and implementation of private sector economic dev capacity-building initiatives as well as serving as advisor and relationship manager for USAID IPs operating in the southern region. USAID Senior Economic Development Adviser and Provincial Rep - Iraq (Feb. 07 – Mar. 09) Former USAID Senior Economic Dev Adviser on the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Salah ad Din Province, Iraq, as well as the USAID Representative in the Province. I worked closely with PRT colleagues as well as Division, Brigade and Battalion staffs to strategically prioritize, design and plan economic interventions and engagements.
