About

I founded and co-founded several medical device companies over the past 20 years including Biosense, which was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 1997, now BiosenseWebster grossing over 1.8 billion dollars in 2016. I am the inventor of the core miniature location sensing technology around which the company’s three cardiology and image-guided surgery product lines were based. I’ve received 33 US Patents for inventions enabling minimally invasive and non-invasive surgery. I have many more pending. I Vice Chair the Stony Brook Foundation and serve on the Board of Gradian Health Systems in NYC. I serve on the International Advisory Board of the Turkana Basin Research Institute in Kenya lead by Dr. Richard Leakey. My past board positions include the Stony Brook University Medical Center Quality Assessment Review Board, and the Long Island High Technology Incubator. I established and own Harmony Vineyards on Long Island. I was the Executive Producer of a CNN film called "Citizen Ashe". I do not communicate on this site.
