EXXON MOBIL SPT OLEFINS RECOVERY PLANT, JURONG ISLAND, SINGAPORE – FIELD ASSIGNMENT (11/2011 – 3/2012) LEAD CONSTRUCTION PLANNER / SCHEDULER: *Responsible for all the planning and scheduling effort during construction, pre-commissioning and turnover of a 1MM metric tons of Ethylene and 614,000 metric tons of Propylene/year plant Olefins Recovery Plant in Singapore. *Reported directly to site construction manager and the client on overall project schedule and progress status. *Basic role included, but not limited to the development and weekly update of level 3 construction schedule, resource loading, remaining man-hours calculation and manpower forecast by trades. *Responsible for the preparation and update of daily, weekly and monthly internal and client’s progress reports included, but not limited to presentation for senior executive management. *Worked with manufacturing and startup teams to develop system turnover sequence and overall level 3 system turnover schedule. *Assisted contractors and 3rd tier sub-contractors to develop level 4 construction schedule. *Responsible for attending meetings with the client and executive management team to present project schedule and progress update. *Participated on many phases of project as project coordinator to push multiple construction work packages to completion. *Managed team of three planners and leverage the best of their abilities to achieve planning and scheduling goals. EXXON MOBIL SPT POWER GENERATION PLANT, JURONG ISLAND, SINGAPORE – FIELD ASSIGNMENT (10/2009 – 10/2011) LEAD CONSTRUCTION PLANNER SCHEDULER: * Responsible for all the planning and scheduling effort during construction, pre-commissioning and turnover of Power Plant consisting of 2 Cogeneration Units (Gas Turbine/HRSG System), 2 Boiler Units and associated systems, Cooling Water System, Substations and Instrumentation and Control buildings.
EXXON MOBIL SINGAPORE PARALLEL TRAIN PROJECT – OFFICE ASSIGNMENT – (09/2008 – 09/2009) ENGINEERING AND PROCUREMENT PLANNER / SCHEDULER: *Responsible for the planning and scheduling effort as well as the regular update and further development of level 3 engineering and procurement schedule for the overall project in coordination with multiple departments. *Assisted project management and procurement department to coordinate with multiple vendors and fabricators logistics and material-delivery-to-site sequence.
*Worked with senior construction professionals from the industry and academia to study and develop construction practices and further understand its adequate application in the Oil&Gas construction industry. 4-D VISUALIZATION OF SH 190 AND I-30 BRIDGE AND INTERCHANGES PROJECT (DALLAS, TX) – (08/2007 – 08/2008) *One year + research project sponsored by the Dallas Texas Dept. of Transportation (TxDOT) *Developed from scratch 3D/4D CAD model of SH 190 (President George Bush Turnpike) and I-30 bridge and interchanges located in Dallas, Texas using AutoCAD 3D and Navisworks JetStream 4D Simulation Software. *Developed and carried out a constructability review program to allow project and construction managers from TxDOT to better prioritize right-of-way acquisition, quantify construction impact over the parcels to be acquired, identified potential crashes due to underground utility relocation and ultimately optimize construction sequence by virtually watching the construction of the project. ROBUST PROJECT NETWORK DESIGN PROJECT – (01/2007 – 07/2007) *Worked with 34 project and construction managers from 10 different construction companies located in Texas, U.S.A. in order to collect data and perform analysis based on research project. *Developed “Robust Project Networks" based on robust design (Taguchi Method) and organizational theories. A 50/50 COMBINATION OF OFFICE AND FIELD WORK *Monitored and coordinated construction activities with owner, occupants, consultant engineering firm and general contractor for educational facility renovation projects. *Assisted Campus Planning and Facility Management in performing review of plans with an emphasis on structural engineering during schematic design phase for educational facility projects of up to $175 million.
FIELD ASSIGNMENT *Responsible for construction inspection, schedule and progress monitoring, and quality control of a residential construction project worth $36 million.
