A proven financial executive with 39 years of progressive experience, including ten years of “Big 4” public accounting experience and 29 years of diverse financial and operational experience with both public and private companies. A creative and energetic leader, an outstanding communicator and an accomplished team-builder, with superior analytical and interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building teams and accomplishing strategic objectives. As Chief Financial Officer of Cadence, my primary responsibility is building and managing the capital structures that form the financial framework for the real estate deals we do. Since joining Arthur Andersen & Co. following my graduation from the University of Colorado, every phase of my career as a finance executive has been a step upwards, each time building on prior opportunities and experiences. Responsible for leading all finance and treasury activities at Cadence and its affiliated real estate investment and development companies, including creating and managing the capital structures that support our build-to-suit projects and other real estate investments .
Responsible for leading the finance, treasury, portfolio management, securities settlement and human resources teams of Trust Company of America and an affiliated broker-dealer (“TCAdvisors Network Inc.”), and serving as a member of the Board of Directors of these entities.
