I am a HND qualified mechanical maintenance technician and planner with experience of building, maintaining and fault diagnosis on PLC and PC controlled special purpose machinery as well as experience in SAP maintenance planning and managing material master data in a FMCG environment. I have an eye for detail and work well on my own as well as within a team where I am able to lead, supervise and motivate others. I am effective in working safely to defined rules and technical procedures but capable of improvisation and adaptation where required.
- Maintenance and breakdown planning on high-speed cup making machines and tissue paper converting lines for napkins. - Spare parts procurement, both from OEM and reverse engineered. - Creating standard operating procedures for maintenance activities and rolling these out to the maintenance teams. - Supervising contractors ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
- Carried out mechanical maintenance and process improvement work on high speed tissue paper converting lines producing toilet rolls. - Coached and trained apprentices and members of the line teams in maintenance procedures.
