Leading the operational team of 1,500 Unipart colleagues across 2.5 million square feet of warehousing space to deliver the global aftermarket solution for JLR out of the impressive campus at Mercia Park. The Global Parts Logistics Centre distributes c. 1,000,000 units a week out of 3 dedicated warehouses containing 400,000 locations with a team that operates 24 hours a day, utilising multi-modal distribution networks to deliver a range of services to JLR's Parts Distribution Centres, importers and dealer networks in UK, Europe and RoW.
Leading a team of 300 Unipart colleagues across 1.4 million square feet of warehousing space to deliver the global aftermarket solution for JLR out of the impressive campus at Mercia Park. Focusing on 'large part' distribution out of 2 dedicated warehouses containing 43,000 locations, my team operates 24 hours a day and utilises multi-modal distribution networks to deliver a range of services to JLR's Parts Distribution Centres, importers and dealer networks in UK, Europe and RoW.
Leading the UK’s first Electric Vehicle Centre of Excellence (EV CoE), providing a sustainable end-to-end solution for EV battery diagnosis and repair through a strategic partnership with Cox Automotive in the US and aligned to DHL’s existing facilities in Mexico and Dubai. The EV Centre of Excellence is also an automotive aftermarket hub, initially focused on new entrants to the UK market from the Far East – successfully launching Omoda and Jaecoo into the facility during 2024.
Commercial and operational responsibility for Aston Martin’s global parts supply chain. I managed dedicated and sub-contracted collection fleets in the UK, EU and RoW and led teams at DHL’s international cross-dock and distribution hub in the Midlands along with the DHL teams at Aston Martin’s manufacturing plants in England and Wales.
Leading the Operations Excellence agenda across 13 of our customers within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector. I was the Ops Ex subject matter expert, supporting Operations Directors and local General Managers achieve their targets across a broad range of topics, ranging from maximizing revenue through Trading Improvement Plans to delivering technological enhancements in line with our Accelerated Digitalisation programme.
