During my eleven years at Santos from 1996 to 2008, I worked as an exploration and development geologist undertaking basin analysis and field studies in the following petroleum provinces: North West Shelf (Australia), Bonaparte Basin, Timor Leste, Zagros Basin (Iran), Bowen Basin (Australia). I have been involved in ongoing relationship building and negotiations with joint venture partners and designated authorities, and mentoring of graduates and less experienced geoscientists. During this period I worked on several large exploration and development projects involving the integration of regional tectonics, structural geomechanics, burial history modelling, clastic and carbonate sequence stratigraphy and seismic mapping.
