Dave has over 20 years of hands on experience in festival and event management, marketing, sponsorship sales, brand management and corporate consulting. Prior to the formation of POP Entertainment & Management, he was the Executive Producer of the Jazz Winnipeg Festival where he grew the event into one of the largest of its kind in Western Canada. He also created the Urban Groove Festival. Throughout the years Dave has developed a strong network of both local and national contacts. As a tour and production manager he has gained extensive technical knowledge and stage management experience. Dave, a graduate of the University of Winnipeg, was the chair of The Walker Theatre for The Performing Arts (Burton Cummings Theatre) prior to its sale in 2016.
