About

An experienced Senior Programme and Project Manager who has been responsible for the delivery of several multi-million technical projects from both Customer and Delivery Team perspectives. My recent experience was with a major Category A transformation project/contract for the MOD requiring programme and project management skills, financial and commercial awareness from the Business Case Initial Gate staffing through to the preparation of the In House Proposal and subsequent assistance to the Delivery Partner in the transition period up to Service Commencement Date and the 3 year transition period. I was part of the transition team which assisted the Delivery Partner especially within the Commodities area which included procurement including technical assessment and contract management (over 250) which were transferred to the Delivery Partner. I have successfully mentored staff previously inexperienced in the production of effective Business Cases in accordance with the MOD Approvals Process and have worked with the Assurance and Governance teams within MOD (DE&S) to ensure their subsequent approval. Experienced of working in a fast paced environment responding within required timelines to unplanned tasks (PQs etc) and capable of using own initiative when required. I have previously worked on a variety of aircraft modification upgrades including the upgrade to the C-130 Hercules which included the provision of secure Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) communications, defensive aids and tactical data link to enhance situational awareness and an enhanced vision system.
