      Working in the Regulatory Operations branch of Safety, Environment and Regulations (SER) provided a great introduction to Government processes, legislation and communicating information to stakeholders. Key responsibilities included: -Supporting and collaborating with colleagues and on projects across the Vehicle Safety branch. -Data analysis and providing insight and information on trends and researching solutions to implement solutions. -Creating vehicle inspection sheets through compiling NSW regulation, Australian Design Rules and government issued bulletins and gazettes to form factual, easy to read guidance for vehicle inspectors on vehicle modifications, with scope to expand the sheets to training opportunities for future staff and police. -Assisting in the uplift of customer facing documents by compiling vehicle safety standards and regulations to form a basis on the new documentation. Key Achievements included:  Successful implementation of the Vehicle Inspection sheets used by the Vehicle Inspection team in Operation Method. Writing an article for the DRIVES Newsletter on the issue of lost plates, the impacts on our customers and providing methods which inspectors can use to help curb the increase of occurrences.
