March 2024 - July 2024. Teaching & Education Volunteering Programme with International Volunteer HQ, in Buenos Aires, Argentina (four weeks). This was followed by an additional 10 weeks of travel across South America. July 2024 - February 2025 - Waiting for start date in new role. During this time I managed bar staff at London music festivals and worked in various catering positions at London football stadiums.
Worked on the UK’s leading retail trade show event, Spring & Autumn Fair, which welcomes 1200+ exhibitors and 60,000 visitors, each year. Responsibilities: • Onboarded and account managed buyers from major retailers and independents, during buyer acquisition phase • Presented key insights from own data analysis to multiple Key Account Manager’s, which helped to shape their Sales strategy moving forward • Exercised effective communication skills during research conversations with Buyers, unlocking new and valuable information regarding how buying behaviour differs between various types of retailers • Created Buyer personas for the Portfolio Director, which they used to help shape the show strategy from a Sales, Marketing & Event Management perspective. • Worked closely with buyers to understand their needs and collaboratively seek out potentially suitable suppliers • Used analytical and inference skills to conduct data analysis on large data sets post-show, using Excel. Used various formulae & pivot tables to manipulate data, which helped to identify key patterns and trends Achievements: • Worked alongside fellow Community Managers to deliver and drive engagement in a brand-new digital platform called Connect, which was launched at Autumn Fair 2023. The team were successful in meeting specified targets, in which Connect @ Autumn Fair connected 3,000+ buyers with all 600+ Autumn Fair suppliers for 6,000+ high value onsite meetings.
