Key Contributions: Ensuring the safe and efficient operations and running of Al Saja'a landfill, responsible for setting key targets and defining KPI's in line with previous performance. Liaising and consulting with customers and contractors on site in the redevelopment of existing tipping areas, aiming to reduce the sites overall environmental impact. Increasing recovery of saleable materials and reducing environmental impact through the implementation of upgrades and improvement to waste storage facilities. Implementation of a bespoke 500,000 tpa Materials Recovery Facility and a 250,000 tpa Tyre Recovery Facility, managing the cold and warm phases of the commissioning. Directly involved in the recruitment of a large number of staff and the management of 6 administration staff. Liaison with outside suppliers in the arrangement of maintenance contracts and procurement of equipment. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation and management of a haulage fleet consisting of 28 line haul vehicles and all site transfer stations. Compiling Opex and Capex budgets for Process Operations. Further management of four other satellite dump sites with the wider aim to downsize unnecessary sites and upgrade underperforming ones.
