Experienced Senior Contracts Manager and Pre Construction Manager / Planner. Early years as a site engineer working my way up to site agent in Heavy Civils with Birse and Nuttall, predominantly working in the major projects divisions of both companies on major roads and bridge schemes. During this period worked on Beaver Road Diversion in Kent, M20 junction 13, A16 Bypass Spalding to Boston, NCC East India Dock, A406 North Circular Edmonton section, A406 Falloden Way Finchley, A12 / M11 link Road Leytonstone, Sewage Treatment Works Portsmouth. From year 2000 onwards i have worked predominantly in the groundworks and RC Frame sector as a Senior Contracts Manager. 14 of those years were with GCL and I played a key role within the senior management team in assisting the company grow from strength to strength. Experienced in all forms of RC Frame construction utilising a full range of formwork systems - Slip form, jump form, climbing systems, Gass, Peri, Doka, Skydeck, Topec, Titan. Post tensioning and Bamtec reinforcement solutions. Helped GCL set up the first PCC columns production in house. Further experience with installation of Twin Wall construction, solid wall. I have extensive Pre Construction experience producing Programmes and Budgets, logistics plans and programme sequencing. Have worked closely with designers on all forms of temporary works on both major and minor schemes
