A self-motivated and professional NEBOSH, blue card A40a All Types All Duties Slinger Signaller, blue card A61 Appointed Person Lifting Operations, blue card A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor, and BOHS qualified Asbestos Consultant (holds BOHS P402, P403, P404 and P405 qualifications). Have a fit for work medical. Have a UKATA Asbestos awareness certificate. Keen to develop skills further through training and guidance and also share own knowledge with others. Proven ability to quickly acquire new skills. Previous experience and qualifications in gas installation and mechanical maintenance & repair which have proved useful in the planning of complex asbestos works with the understanding of the mechanical and electrical elements.
Protos Energy Recovery Facility. Working with the Principal Contractor overseeing electrical installation and pipework testing as part of the commissioning phase. Electrical works include cable routing, glanding, termination and testing. Pipework commissioning entails pressure testing, steam blowing and Non Destructive Testing Works include working at height from scaffolding , cherry pickers and scissor lifts. Daily tasks include undertaking site inspections and reporting back to the health and safety team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency, creating and issuing toolbox talks and daily safety briefings. Attending weekly Health and Safety meetings, Health issues and Safety team site walks and attend regular site progress meetings.
Shotton Paper Mill overseeing pipe installation and construction of pipe bridges utilising cranes, roto's, telehandlers cherry picked and scissor lifts. Works include working at height, welding and fabrication, rigging and construction of pipe bridges. Undertaking site inspections and reporting back to the health and safety team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
Undertaking slinger/signaller duties, crane supervisor duties and appointed person duties for various clients in domestic, docklands, commercial, industrial , civil and the utilities industry.
Shotton Paper Mill Visually inspecting lifting equipment, adhering to all risk assessment and permits to work. Creating lifting plans. Installation of machinery and equipment, slinging various loads and banking overhead gantry cranes.
