Customer Care Technician at VideoPro since January 2025 Duties include in field audio visual equipment installation, support and repair. Preventative maintenance checks,audits and subsequent reports for clients. AMX ,Crestron ,Extron,Qsys,MTR software updating and program code transfers and Audio visual system audits. Previously employed at The Ci Group as a Senior Audio Visual Technician, Run By Media in Installation,Corporate Initiatives in various roles,and Videopro as a Customer Care Technician in a field service support role. Also employed at AMX Australia(AVT)as a Technical Specialist, based at Ashmore,QLD. My duties while there included the delivery of technical AMX AV phone support to industry integrators, and performing site visits to resolve issues as a Field Service Engineer. Previous position prior to AMX Australia was with the University of Queensland’s AV department as an AV support and installation technician. Whilst at UQ I was largely based at St Lucia campus,but also spent time at Ipswich and Gatton campuses performing back fill duties,equipment installation and quality audits. My final role with UQ was being solely responsible for the set up and provision of AV support and installation at Herston campus (Royal Brisbane Hospital) for all Av related issues and requests for over fifty rooms . My duties included daily provision of tier 1 to 3 AV and Cisco video conferencing,DSP profile adjustments, daily room AV equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and installation of new AV and control equipment in teaching rooms, boardrooms and auditoriums. Trade qualified Consumer Electronics Technician for over 20 years,facilitated the foundation and diagnostic skills required to perform and deliver all of the above listed duties.
