Leads a team that implements all aspects of JPS’ GIS-related projects and initiatives. This includes integrating smart grid and emerging operational systems. - Evaluating technological advances and promoting the usage of appropriate technology and applications among various end-users. - Developing and implementing policies and procedures to guide operations. - Responsible for all budgetary matters relating to the program
- Directed GIS and drawing functions of the unit - Developed geodatabases to support electrical modeling of JPS’ distribution network. - Managed integration of Enterprise GIS with critical systems including Customer Information System and Outage Management System
Performed a myriad of technical projects including the following: - Co-head on major data collection projects including planning, execution, training, and payroll. - Provide analytical and technical expertise for analysis of electrical loss management initiatives - Produces accurate maps and other geospatial representations of data for various mission-critical projects Application design and development leveraging GIS to support various departments
