I am an HCI researcher, novelist, and media artist. My research investigates how AI can be aligned with the values, and aesthetics of arts communities. (http://dashielcarrera.com). This work has been published in top venues like CHI, DIS, and CSCW. My artistic practice includes my novel The Deer (Dalkey Archive), essays in LARB, and AI-assisted transmedia installations exhibited at Inter/Access and the Goat Farm.
