The club offered a trip to South America, where participants would volunteer in a medical center, and I was in charge of promoting it and recruiting more members. I was the president, and we also held fundraisers for medical services in South American countries. I managed everything, including the finances.
While in JA, like-minded students from all across Brampton came together to start a company called BeeCharmed. We sold beeswax candles with charms inside and grew a business together. I was lucky enough to be the director of finance of our company and handled various things, such as balance sheets, income statements, etc.
