Vault "workflows and experiences" product lead. I led a team of rockstar PMs focusing on product-led growth, developer experience and new value add hybrid capabilities (eg. Vault Insights) for Vault (self-managed and cloud).
Operator workflow experiences - 2022 Principle Award Winner - "humility" (1 out of 9 selected in the company) - PM liaison for multiple customers. - Defined requirements for multiple needle-moving capabilities for Vault binary releases (Vault Diagnose, Insights, client count / billing tools, etc.) - Delivered many roadmap / EBC sessions
ML + intelligence + analytics + core platform + security - PM lead for the Vault Intelligence workstream (Vault Advisor (intelligence-based policy recommender), Splunk app for monitoring Vault, new usage metrics to understand how Vault is doing from a security perspective, etc.) - PM lead for the Vault core platform (core workflow maturity: performance, integrated storage, UI, replication, multi-tenancy, etc.) - Wrote multiple PRDs, worked closely with engineering/design to deliver features, helped with GTM effort (CS enablement, internal knowledge transfers, blogs, webinars, etc.). Curated a brand new 'knowledge share' CS/sales enablement process for internal stakeholders - Represented HashiCorp at various events as a speaker (Starbucks SIX Conference, Splunk DevOps Open Source Insights and Innovations event: https://events.splunk.com/OpenSource22072020?elqTrack=true). - PM for the externalization effort for "Machine Learning University" (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/amazons-own-machine-learning-university-now-available-to-all-developers/). Very passionate about machine learning education. - Launched the AWS DeepLens console (at re:Invent 2017). AWS DeepLens is the world’s first deep learning enabled video camera for developers. - Wrote PRFAQs for 2 confidential initiatives; worked with user research to gather customer use cases; worked with design and engineering to define product specifications - Performed market sizing (estimation) for a confidential new initiative - Led machine learning community initiatives internal to Amazon: organized a company wide AWS DeepLens hackathon than spanned several months and resulted in the creation of 40+ new machine learning use cases for AWS DeepLens
First product hire on the big data/analytics/AI consoles team. Owned consoles for several AWS services totaling billions of dollars in revenue. Product consoles owned: Amazon RDS, Amazon Athena (serverless interactive query service), AWS Glue (ETL as a service), Amazon Redshift (data warehouse)and Amazon EMR (managed cluster platform): - Defined the entire product management process for the team (now owner of 20+ service consoles across AWS). - Owner for the AWS Glue Console that was launched at New York Summit 2017. Drove requirements for several "intelligent" features including schema matching, notebook instances, and crawler definition. - Owner for the Amazon Athena console. Launched the console from scratch. - Owner for the Amazon Redshift console. Launched several new features including "query monitoring rules". Initiated requirements-definition for console redesign. - Owner for the EMR console. Launched several new features. - Lots of additional PM stuff: Wrote PRFAQs for a few confidential new initiatives related to big data. Led several user research studies. Led CAB (Customer Advisory Board) sessions. Developed tutorials for AWS Glue. Worked with marketing for go-to market strategy for launches. Worked with documentation on delivering great tutorials for customers.
Worked on IBM Bluemix - the digital innovation platform that helps developers rapidly build, manage and run web and mobile applications. Formulated an effective plan that will - Encourage conversion of registrations to activations, activations to free trial accounts, and free trial accounts to Pay-Go accounts - In turn, increase revenue for IBM Cloud.
