I am an environmental engineering graduate from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. I aspire to work in the area of conservation and sustainability to help the environment. I have been actively involved in Ultimate Frisbee since 2008 and have represented Singapore on a few occasions. I enjoy other activities like swimming, running, cycling and just being outdoors with nature.
Environment team | Construction Safety & Environmental Protection Division Core work: - Support LTA construction project teams and contractors in the environmental management of their construction sites (mainly road construction projects) by providing recommendations and advice in consideration to the site constraints, impact to the surrounding environment/stakeholders and regulations/legislations. - Review environmental management plans of construction sites (earth control measures (ECM), noise management, waste management, vector control). - Ensure construction sites are in compliance with various regulations, legislations and specifications (LTA, NEA, PUB). - Review environmental impact assessment (EIA) reports and environmental monitoring and management plan (EMMP) of projects during design phase of the project, and ensure compliance of recommendations during construction phase of the project. - Lead for earth control measures. Involves communication with PUB counterparts on ECM matters, organise interagency meetings/meetings with industry professionals). - Conduct monthly site inspections and adhoc thematic exercises/audits to ensure compliance of construction sites with relevant legislations and specifications. Adhoc: - Participated in group welfare committee. Worked with a team to organise team building activity, townhall etc. - LTA Annual Safety Award Convention (ASAC) 2022 Audit team 2IC, ASAC 2023 Audit team IC.
Joined BSD as part of the SGUnited Traineeship program. - Managed projects on Green Mark certification and Periodic Energy Audits of water-cooled chiller plant systems; - Carried out engineering calculations and analysis on chiller plant system performances; - Reviewed building energy and water consumptions and policies.
Attached to the development & facilities management department. - Assisted in understanding the electricity and water networks and mapped out the locations of the electrical boxes and switch rooms; - Conducted research and proposed smart technologies and water and energy conservation solutions; - Assisted in verifying goods receipt notes (GRN) of completed works; - Liaised with contractors on ongoing and upcoming works; - Conducted defect checks by patrolling the Gardens.
