About

Passionate software team manager and software architect. I believe empowering technologists to do what they do best creates the most competitive products. Over the years I have built software teams with exceptionally high standards in software quality, productivity and innovation. As an architect I have been designing highly scalable, available and reliable systems. These cover a wide range of areas including large scale dynamic imaging services, big data analytics, high throughput APIs, video streaming farms and multiplayer games. Beyond designing and implementing these systems I also have a lot of experience selecting and configuring infrastructure. Small and large companies can equally build large systems with the advancement of services like AWS and Azure. However, this approach requires a new way of designing systems to take advantage of this flexibility. When do I automatically turn on new servers, how do I administer that unpredictability? I think these are some of the most interesting problems in the industry today.
