About

The "Insurance Operations + AI + Underwriter Workflow" Guy I work with insurance carriers, MGAs, and Delegated Authority wholesale brokers navigating one of the most consequential decisions they’ll make: selecting, replacing, or modernizing a core system. My role often looks like a “core systems broker” - helping underwriting and operations leaders pressure‑test platforms, understand real‑world tradeoffs, and avoid costly technology decisions that slow growth. My background is in underwriting workflows, with exposure across the entire insurance value chain, so conversations tend to focus less on feature checklists and more on how systems actually impact speed, accuracy, broker experience, and day‑to‑day execution. I also spend a lot of time studying how AI and workflow automation are reshaping underwriting and distribution. That exposure informs the content I share here, including: *Underwriting operations and delegated authority insights *Core systems evaluation frameworks *Workflow automation and AI adoption trends *GTM strategy/ conference planning for early‑stage insurance and insurtech teams Even when Cogitate isn’t the right fit, I’m always open to comparing notes with teams quietly evaluating platforms, planning a greenfield launch, or trying to untangle the operational friction that slows underwriting and broker responsiveness. My goal is simple: help insurance operators make clearer decisions, move faster, and deliver a better experience to brokers and policyholders. I am here to help your business profitably grow revenue and market share! Disclaimer: Views expressed here are my own and do not represent my employer. I do not promote or collaborate with products that compete with Cogitate and take care to avoid conflicts of interest in the content I share.
