After graduating high school in 2019, I attended college for three semesters before realizing my strengths were better applied outside of the classroom. I transitioned into the workforce with Walmart, where I built a strong foundation in leadership, teamwork, and operations. Over time, I advanced into a Team Lead role, overseeing associates, coordinating daily tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. In 2022, I chose to take on a new challenge by joining the U.S. Army. I currently serve as an Infantryman with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Polk, Louisiana. My service has reinforced the values of discipline, adaptability, and resilience while giving me opportunities to grow as both a leader and a team member in high-pressure situations. Alongside my military service, I am also pursuing my Associate’s Degree in Computer Technology. I plan to reenlist and reclass into the 25B MOS, Information Technology Specialist, while continuing to advance my education. My long-term academic goals include completing my Associate’s Degree and then pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science or Cybersecurity. I am proud of the path I’ve taken so far and the diverse experiences I’ve gained in both civilian and military settings. I look forward to continuing to grow personally and professionally while preparing for future opportunities that will allow me to apply my leadership, dedication, and technical skills to new challenges.
