Darren Lee is the CEO and founder of GoTrust Technology Inc. and GoTrustID Inc. He is recognized as a ‘game-changer’ in mobile security by Federal Security Magazine in 2015 and winner of the most prodigious Sesames digital security award, in Paris in 2008. GoTrustID was established in 2018, with investments from the Alibaba Group with private angels from Silicon Valley and the acquisition of GoTrust Technology Inc. to focus on cutting-edge enterprise passwordless authentication. GoTrust’s first products appeared in 2008 with Mr. Lee’s secure microSD invention, the first portable and customer-owned security element for mobile devices. Over a million units have been sold and are widely used by 17 countries including many top-secret projects. Since 2018, Mr. Lee led GoTrustID to develop a passwordless Zero Trust Authentication platform dedicated to the protection of employee’s daily login. The platform uses employee’s phone or USB Idem Key to unify every login in organization in hybrid IT settings by single platform without passwords. Under Darren's efficient leadership, GoTrust has been profitable every year since 2022 and has grown rapidly. He is also an inventor of 24 international patents including 9 US patents.
