About

My current interests lie in the field of bioinformatics. More specifically, I am looking into equipping myself with the necessary computing skills to simulate, predict and develop novel therapeutics, and am hoping to enter a post-graduate course on computational chemistry or biology. In future, I hope to reach the competency level to be able to independently research and develop a novel therapeutic via the bioinformatics approach, and contribute to the scientific bioinformatics community. My current soft skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication, have been rigorously honed during my undergraduate days in the NUS Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) course, in which I was taught to develop valuable habits in continuous, self-driven learning. Along the way, after discovering my interest in the world of academia, I wish to continue honing my research skills to a competency level at which I am able to keep myself updated and have minimal knowledge gaps.
