The competition enhanced my understanding of problem-solving, aerodynamics, propulsion, and data analysis. and engineering innovation. Team collaboration between myself and my colleagues emphasised the importance of communication and teamwork. I also gained a solid understanding of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations for drone flight in England. I conducted scrutiny tests of MAVs to ensure drone efficacy and flight safety.
During a one-day volunteering experience with Lions Club International at the Crowthorne Carnival, I adapted to rain and wind, demonstrating resilience and problem-solving by securing our gazebo. I fostered community connections, managed a fundraising booth, and collaborated with fellow volunteers, showcasing teamwork and event management skills. Engaging with the public to raise awareness and encourage donations highlighted my communication abilities, supporting Lions Club International’s global initiatives.
