I was selected to participate in the Susquehanna International Group discovery day for first year students. It was a great experience where I learnt about what SIG do as a company. We were taught the basic idea behind options and how to evaluate them. We gained an insight in to what different teams do in SIG such as the trading operations team and the equity research team. We played a car game where the core idea of it was to use expected value to determine what size of a bet you should place. It was a highly valuable experience and gave me great exposure and knowledge to financial markets, ETF’s, options trading, market places and the work that goes in to evaluating individual stocks.

Through out the day I would manage the kitchen and make sure the chefs always had what they needed. This job thought me how to work under severe pressure and manage my time efficiently to ensure everything was done when needed.
