Modern physical educator with academic and applied experience working in the areas of youth athletic development, resistance training for adolescents and the mental health benefits of muscular strengthening exercise for adolescents. When not pursuing my academic endeavours, you can find me coaching strength and conditioning 6 days a week in a variety of underage, academy, intermediate and senior environments across various sporting disciplines. I enjoy creating disciplined, evidence-based environments with a focus on athlete awareness and education. I have recently graduated from my undergraduate physical education degree and will be undertaking a full time PhD in the University of Limerick assessing the feasibility of a resistance training intervention in Irish post-primary schools and its effects on muscular fitness and mental health outcomes. I am open to discussion, both formal and informal, in relation to any of the above topics.

In charge of the physical preparation of the AIL 2B senior mens squad. Working week to week with 50+ athletes who receive in depth, individualised programming. Focused on improving the S&C structures from underage upwards. Collaborative member of the backroom team. Promotion to AIL 2A Achieved at first attempt.
Lead S&C with Adare Senior Footballers for the 2025/26 & 26/27 seasons. In charge of player monitoring including load management, team testing, GPS reporting, squad programming and individual RTP. Collaborative member of the backroom team. Semi Finalists 2025. West Champions 2026.
Intern as part of the backroom team of Tipp Senior Football for the 24/25 season. Assistant S&C coach to Donnacha Mulcahy. Developed over 100 GPS reports, lead individual RTP and attended all training and match day outings with the squad. Experience using VALD, Output and RYPT to create load management systems and player performance profiles.
