I'm a senior communications and PR leader with 20+ years of experience helping mission-driven organizations in the nonprofit sector build the visibility, credibility, and community trust they need to grow — through earned media, strategic storytelling, and relationships that last. At CHATS-Community & Home Assistance to Seniors, I lead integrated communications, marketing, and external relations - connecting the organization with journalists, partners, and the communities it serves. • Lead integrated communications strategy positioning CHATS as a leading voice for seniors across York Region and South Simcoe. • Develop high-impact content for advocacy campaigns, educational materials, newsletters, and social media to raise awareness on aging and elder care. • Initiate, plan, and execute community events including municipal flag-raising ceremonies and awareness days in partnership with local stakeholders. • Launched and lead CHATS’ official podcast—managing guest invitations, scheduling, content development, and CEO coordination for recorded episodes. • Represent CHATS in Ontario Health Team meetings, contributing communication expertise to collaborative regional strategies. • Craft official speaking points, press releases, and media responses. • Design branded collateral such as infographics, presentations, and campaign assets to support fundraising, advocacy, and public engagement. .
