I build and translate AI-in-Science solutions into robust, deployable systems, bridging research to real-world impact (“1 → 100”). My work combines physics principles + machine learning to improve performance under limited data, increase interpretability, and enable verification. Founder of SensAI (patented sealing integrity / leakage detection), S$1M+ grants obtained, winner of NUS TechLaunch, filed 5 innovation disclosures, and have 3 international patents granted. I am open to collaborations on AI-in-science translation, including pilots with labs/industry where we can deliver measurable impact (accuracy, throughput, time-to-insight). Develop physics-guided ML approaches to improve model performance and interpretability under data constraints; emphasize verification and robustness for deployment. Proposed and secured research support for projects including non-destructive defect detection, wearable gesture sensing, and advanced semiconductor failure analysis. Project leadership / key contributor across translational programs: AI+X, AMDM, TAP, HiFES, and industry-aligned efforts in failure analysis for next-generation 3D-IC packaging.
Selected as an Eric & Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellow, focused on translational AI in science at NUS. Advanced AI-in-science workflows that integrate domain physics with ML for higher reliability and interpretability in real measurement systems. Support international research collaboration and AI in science programmatic development.
Founded SensAI to commercialize sensing technology for sealing integrity testing and leakage detection across FMCG and healthcare applications. Secured S$250,000 TAP grant for product development and IP creation; won NUS TechLaunch and later served as technology lead in subsequent program iterations. Filed 5 innovation disclosures; achieved 3 international patents granted; built partnerships spanning industry and applied research (incl. NDA and A*STAR/ARTC-related collaboration agreements).
