I'm a management engineer and co-founder of Co2nvert, a power-to-chemicals startup that is developing a technology that converts captured CO2 into ethanol thanks to a carbon negative process. I have always been into the startup world with different projects. These experiences have taught me to be flexible, proactive and ready to tackle unexpected problems. I feel extremely motivating starting with just an idea, transforming it into a business idea and building all the blocks required to develop it. In addition, I believe that creating a network and involving different people is the most fulfilling and difficult part of a project. In the last few years I've also started to engage in public speaking. SKILLS • Design, engineering and management of industrial plants • Mathematical modeling of optimization problems • Management of complex systems • Project management • Innovation management • Techno-economic analysis • Supply chain management I am now expanding my knowledge in the field of environmental sustainability (life cycle assessment, carbon capture, hydrogen, renewable energies, carbon footprint, sustainable fuels, power-to-X). I believe that internationalization is fundamental to seize new business opportunities but also to get in touch with different cultures and mindsets. For this reason, I am projected towards experiences abroad. I have spent a Double Degree semester in Klagenfurt (Austria) and then a semester in Malmö (Sweden) to design Co2nvert's pilot plant. EXPERIENCE • 2 years of freelancing collaboration with HVAC Service (HVAC tenders, B2B meetings, innovative projects); • 5 years of startup development projects; • 2 years as co-founder and CTO at Co2nvert.
- Monitoring and implementation of solutions for bottling efficiency (OEE) improvement - Optimization of CO2 yield - Digitalization and Kaizen approach - Planning and tracking of operators' development and training

During the Erasmus Traineeship at Hulteberg Chemistry & Engineering I focused on the design and analysis of a plant converting carbon dioxide into ethanol, including a techno-economical and carbon footprint assessment.
