- Project Manager of the temporary earth open tanks - filled by the mud (non-hazardous waste) coming from the excavations of the Candiano Channel (Port of Ravenna) - emptying works. Legal and environmental issues worked out with the support of a group of lawyers and an environmental consultant; - Prepared design, quality, production, and administrative procedures and instructions for the awarded works to the JV (CMC - 90% and Cogeco7 - 10%) by the Italian Department of the Civil Protection for the construction and installation of prefabricated houses (40-60-80 m²) to be supplied to the populations affected by disasters such as earthquakes (November 2015 - February 2016);
Referente di Cantiere (RC) of the Lavori di adeguamento a quattro corsie della SS.640 “di Porto Empedocle” (SS.640 highway “di Porto Empedocle” renovation works to four-lane) II lotto, Caltanissetta-Agrigento, Sicily, Italy. Contract with ANAS of about €740 million. This project consists of the renovation works of the SS.640 highway to four-lane from Caltanissetta to Agrigento. My role covered all aspects pertaining to the legality and being the contractor appointed point of contact with all the external authorities having jurisdiction on this matter (Prefettura di Caltanissetta, Carabinieri, Polizia, …). Meeting twice a week with Prefettura’s reps and once a week with ANAS’s reps for legality and preparation of the meeting minutes. I have supervised a staff of five people including the Pass Officer, the Access Control Manager and three working on paperwork like submissions of the documents (certificates, statements, family composition, contracts and subcontracts status, …) to the Prefettura and ANAS as well as various logs that show subcontractor by subcontractor the status of the submission to the Prefettura, Prefettura’s reply, and signed contracts and sub-contracts. This role even if different when compared against the previous ones on Quality Control has a common point that is the management of an organized structure, working on the processes and developing and revising procedures to assure the satisfaction of the contract requirements as far as concerns legality in accordance with the applicable laws, and signed protocols with the authorities in charge of it;
