Currently serving in the External Relations department, undertaking strategic engagement work with both local and overseas partners, contributing to the university’s partnership development, research collaborations, and project delivery. Over the past year, have supported key initiatives, including the management of a high-visibility research project, regional and local partner engagements, and the organisation of a major flagship event. Have also operationalised a digital workflow platform - designing end-to-end workflow structures, configuring processes, and translating operational requirements into a scalable system. Prior to this role, had spent four and a half years at the Institute for Adult Learning, establishing and operationalising a new business stream in learning consultancy to support businesses in catalysing transformation at the workplace through their workforce. In earlier years, was heavily involved to push for transformation of the institute through EdTech adoption, and multi-hatted to lead Business Development & Marcom teams in advancing the institute’s position and services. My engagement portfolio spanned across SME and non-SME clients alike, trade associations, government entities - across senior leadership tiers up to the C-levels. Sincerely appreciative of the leadership and guidance provided by Dr Renee Tan and Dr Justina Tan during the earlier years of my career at the institute, which has significantly shaped my professional practice. Have spent the majority of my career in hybrid roles that leverages both strategic and operational expertise, with a focus on functional-level strategy to achieve business goals. Have cultivated strong horizontal business skill sets coupled with broad domain knowledge in areas of training & adult education, learning & organisational development for performance, and business IT. Believes in grounded leadership, taking a purpose-led approach towards a shared vision, being both a good team and individual contributor, bringing high learning agility, valuing human-centricity, and delivering meaningful work.
