I’m at my most effective when I’m translating complex strategy into clear direction a team can act on. Most of the time that’s in messy or uncertain situations, where priorities are all over the place, no one can quite see what’s going on, and there’s no real agreement on what matters most. I’m comfortable in the middle of that. When things get complicated or off track, I step in, untangle it, and get some structure back. I also like to look ahead and set up what a team needs before they need it. I’ve done this across banking, federal and state government, energy, higher education and pharmaceuticals over twenty-five years, in global, national and local settings, including major technology delivery for a global pharmaceutical company. I like seeing an ambitious idea become something practical and measurable.
Lead strategic orchestration across the newly formed Data and AI Portfolio, integrating the Group Data Office and Technology Delivery Group.
