Product communication and media management for BMW 5 Series, after-sales services of BMW: •Client communication, PR strategy proposal, project implementation management (press release writing, top management briefing, media interview arrangement, media coverage clipping and analysis etc.), third-party coordination, crisis management etc. •Communication supports to media events, composing and delivering of advertorial articles, test drive and daily media communication. Projects include: -BMW 5 Series B&O Edition Launch (220 medias, Jun. 2013) -National Media Test Drive of BMW 5 Series (150 medias, Oct. 2012) -BMW 5 Series Think Tank Tour (with 16 experts from Chinese Association of Social Science, 12 academic lectures in second-tier Chinese cities, 6,000 MBA/EMBA audience in total, the project throughout 2011) -The All-New BMW 5 Series Li Version’s China launch (250 medias, Aug. 2010) •Providing communication supports to After-Sales promotion focusing on the brand communication “Maintaining Joy” -Kick off Event for 2013 After-Sales Technician Competent National Contest (Apr. 2013) -Local Media Workshop in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen (2012) -The After-Sales Brand Launch (Feb. 2011) •Media management of about 500 key auto media nationwide, including daily communications, events invitation, media relationship maintenance and crisis management, etc. Projects include: -Annual Media Parties (4 cities, each with 150 reporters in attendance) -Top Management Interviews Achievement •Narrowed the gap between Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series in terms of media exposure, product perception and reputation (5 Series obtained about 30 media awards in 2012), helping to improve the sales of BMW 5 Series (surpassing 10,000/month since 2012) and market share (from 15% to 30% up to 2012) •Greatly raised the public awareness of BMW after-sales service, which is now rated No. 1 among premium automobile brands by mainstream media
Media coordination and communication for Self Magazine (one of the most popular female magazines in China) and BMW China and BMW Brilliance, including: •Establishing a media database (around 2000 media nationwide) for the company •Media relationship development and maintenance (face to face visit with at least 10 media per month, not including a great number of phone communication) •Composing monthly media opinion report, collecting media clippings, drafting media communication strategy •Providing in-depth communication service to individual projects, such as Postcard Collection Gala of Self in 2009, Destination X of BMW (2008-2009), Mission 3 (2008-2010), 5 Series Salon (2008) Achievement •Established strong relationship with media and accumulated plenty of the media resources, especially among those automobile media. •Successfully briefed media with clients’ brands and products. •Extended our media service to two BMW dealers in Beijing.
Magazine promotion: •Initiated events such as “China Auto Service of Golden Wrench and Golden Thumb Award 2006”, “Top 10 China Auto Maintenance Equipment Industry 2006” •Readership management, readers’ events such as test drives, parties, and media feedback collecting Achievement •“China Auto Service of Golden Wrench and Golden Thumb Award” has become one of the most influential and authorized assessments and awards organized by the media about after-sales service of auto industry in China, which brings a great reputation for the magazine.
