Together with a global team, we support the business to optimize their functions and use automation as an enabler and/or driver.
Responsible for managing a global team of process experts and IT build staff in the finance and risk domain. We support the finance function in optimizing and automating their processes by means of automation. Also responsible for DSM’s global Robotics Process Automation (RPA) initiatives. Heading a team of professionals to design, build and implement robots to automate cumbersome, repetitive tasks.
As Manager Support Functions, I am managing a global team which is responsible for the design of solutions in the following functional areas: FiCo, Risk, HR, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Intellectual Property, Travel & Expense, Communications and Service Management. We provide our DSM Business Groups and departments with innovative and pragmatic solutions to optimize their ways of working in the respective functional areas. As a Global department we stimulate leverage throughout DSM.
As Exact’s Internal Audit manager, I was responsible for managing and performing operational and financial audits for all our subsidiaries throughout the world. I was also responsible for compliance as well as risk management. Being a sounding board for the Managing Board, the Audit Committee and the Corporate Finance and Administration Department was also part of my job. I have over 15 years’ experience as an external auditor: large/listed companies (mainly construction related), group reporting as well as small and medium-sized companies within Big-4 accountancy firms.
