Responsible for Category Management, Supply & Demand, Logistic Operations and Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for our more than 800 stores in the Benelux (together called Product Value Chain). GrandVision is currently transforming the Product Value Chain organisation by running and implementing six huge projects, ranging from improved Sales & Operations Planning, new and aligned ways of working to assortment harmonisation across countries and ISO (quality system) certification. My department runs these transformational projects in the Benelux organization.
Responsible for all Category Management, digital team and online business for more than 800 stores in The Netherlands and Belgium spread across four retail chains (Eyewish Opticiens and Pearle Opticiens in The Netherlands; Pearle Opticiens and Grand Optical in Belgium) and full responsibility for one pure online player (zonnebrillen.com). Restructured Category Management team, doubled online team and implemented new Digital Platform for four retail chains. Supported the team at zonnebrillen.com in their high growth (>400% year-on-year), relocation and migration to a new platform. Initiated and played a vital role in the acquisition of Charlie Temple (a fast growing pure player in prescription glasses) by GrandVision / HAL Investements. Analyzed and pursued various other acquisition opportunities for GrandVision in the online / digital space.
